This is a new weave I've been experimenting with. I stumbled on it by accident. Not sure if it's completely new (as in never been used by anyone else before) but it's definitely new to me.
For the pendant I used 18 gauge for the frame and 24 gauge for the weave. For the sample piece next to it I used 16 gauge for the frame and 22 gauge for the weave. I love the look the thicker wires give the weave, but it tends to hurt my hands after working a while.
Right now I'm trying to see what other pieces I can use this weave on. I'm leaning more towards simpler designs so that the weave itself can be the main focus. Hopefully I'll have some more stuff to show using this weave in a few days.
